Our intermediate students commemorated the 150th anniversary of the Peshtigo fire with a field trip to the shrine. They learned about the history of the site and participated in several centers – praying the rosary, lighting a candle for a loved one, and doing a prayer walk.

• Ofrenda will be blessed at 10:00 am by Fr. Mark on the 2nd. 
• Classrooms can come by during the day and say a prayer for the souls of those who have departed. 
• Students may bring in pictures of departed loved ones to be blessed by Fr. Mark. (please put the student’s name on the back of the photo so it may be easily returned)

Congratulations to St. Bernard Catholic School teacher Ms. Fiona Hehir for receiving a CatholicLink Award.

The honor rewards a St. Norbert College education graduate who teaches at GRACE or Notre Dame Academy for three years with a $5,000 award. Thank you Ms. Hehir for your dedication to Catholic education and for providing our students with a solid foundation upon which they can grow academically and spiritually.

Presenting Ms. Hehir with the CatholicLink Award was Mr. Brian Bruess, President of St. Norbert College; Mrs. Mary Schaupp, Executive Director of CatholicLink; Mr. Tom Kiely, President of Notre Dame Academy; Mrs. Kimberly Desotell, President of GRACE; and Mrs. Crystal Blahnik, Principal at St. Bernard Catholic School.
