I really like coming to St. Bernard School. My favorite thing to do is art. Mrs. Zaruba has the best ideas for art projects! I also love that everyone is welcome here and we have the nicest teachers.

Each year, our 3rd and 4th graders eagerly await the chance to build birdhouses with Mrs. Waack and her family, and this year’s project did not disappoint! With power tools in hand and smiles on their faces, our students crafted beautiful, practical homes for the birds using wood repurposed from Mrs. Waack’s own backyard. We’re so grateful for the volunteers who make this hands-on experience possible. These students are so proud of their creations, and we love seeing their hard work year after year!
