Student Ambassador Club Spreading Cheer Through Service

This school year, we are excited to introduce a brand new opportunity for our students in grades K–5: the Student Ambassador Club. Led by Mrs. Bartlett, this after-school service club is already making a meaningful impact by teaching our youngest learners the importance of generosity, compassion, and giving back to others.

Since its launch, the Student Ambassador Club has been busy spreading cheer throughout our school and community. Earlier this fall, students created and donated tie blankets to local hospitals, offering warmth and comfort to those who need it most. This hands-on service project allowed students to work together while learning how small acts of kindness can make a big difference.

The club also hosted a Thanksgiving Feast Flea Market, raising an impressive $429. We are incredibly grateful to everyone who supported this event through donations and purchases. The funds raised were used to support our annual Food Drive, helping provide much needed items for families in our community. Thank you to all who helped make this project such a success.

Now, our Student Ambassadors are preparing for their next service initiative: Adopt a Family. Students will be shopping for gifts at Walmart and wrapping presents right here at school, turning generosity into action and bringing joy to families during the Christmas season.

In addition, the Student Ambassador Club will be hosting a bake sale following the K–4 Christmas Concert tonight. The money raised from this bake sale will go directly toward purchasing items for the Adopt a Family project, allowing our students to continue spreading joy and kindness this Christmas season.

We are so proud of the compassion, teamwork, and enthusiasm shown by our Student Ambassador Club members. This new program has already proven to be a wonderful way for our students to serve others, build leadership skills, and spread cheer both inside and outside our school community. Thank you to Mrs. Bartlett for guiding our students and to our families for supporting this meaningful work.
