Uniforms

K-8 Uniform Shirt Requirements

• Solid red, white, or black shirt with collar (long or short-sleeved)
  • Solid red, white, or black undershirts may be worn underneath 
• Solid red, white, or black sweater (collared shirt must be worn underneath)
• Solid red, white, or black fleece jacket (collared shirt must be worn underneath)

IMPORTANT NOTE: Sweaters, fleece jackets, and sweatshirts cannot have a hood in the classroom.

K-8 Uniform Bottom Requirements

• Solid black or khaki pants
• Solid black or khaki capris
• Solid black or khaki shorts (no shorter than 4 inches above the knee)
• Solid black, solid khaki skirts or jumpers (no shorter than 4 inches above the knee and with shorts worn underneath)
• Solid black, solid khak skorts (no shorter than 4 inches above the knee)

IMPORTANT NOTE: Cargo shorts/pants, denim shorts/pants, corduroy shorts/pants, cotton sweatpants, fleece sweatpants, jeggings, leggings, yoga pants, and spandex are not permitted.

Leggings/Tights

• Leggings and tights may only be worn under a school uniform skirt, skort, or jumper
• Must be solid red, white, or black

Shoes

• Shoes must have a closed-toe
• Shoes must have a non-slip back that covers the heel

IMPORTANT NOTES: A separate pair of clean, new, or gently used shoes is required for gym class to help protect and maintain our gym floor.

Flip-flops, sandals, soft-sole moccasins, slippers, high heels, wedges, clogs, and Crocs are not permitted.

T-Shirt Tuesdays

Each Tuesday, students are encouraged to wear spirit wear tops with uniform bottoms. Any t-shirt, athletic jersey, or club activity that is sponsored by St. Bernard School, GRACE, Notre Dame Academy, or St. Norbert College may be represented.
